Hoop is definitely the place to go in Clacton. My daughter is autistic and she is very very picky with everything but she loves coming to Hoop hairdressers to get her hair washed and cut and our favorite stylist is Ella who is such a great stylist for a start but she also has a lovely way about her making people feel welcome and comfortable. After moving into the area nearly 5 years ago it took me a long time to find a good Hair Salon with a stylist that would cut my hair perfectly. Hoops was the 4th salon I tried and was really impressed by the lovely decor and friendly staff (everyone is made to feel welcome). Ella, my stylist is a lovely person (we always have a laugh together) but most importantly she’s a fantastic stylist, she always cuts my hair perfectly and is a smiley happy person which makes it a pleasure to have my haircut. Well done Hoops, you’re the best hair salon in the area ❤️

Anazing salon with nicest staff! I was really nervous about having my hair cut as previous hairdressers have ruined my hair in the past. Ella made me feel so comfortable and made my hair feel and look amazing without loosing my much loved length which gave me a nice confidence boost 🙂 She also did my mum's hair and did an amazing job! Mum was flaunting her hair around and said she felt years younger 😊 Brought my daughter for her first big girl wash cut and blowdry after school and Jessica was hands down the beat hairdresser that's ever done her hair! She made Lydia feel very comfortable, was really good with helping her keep still and even gave her hair a lovely style after her cut. My first visit to hoop and Jessica my hair consultant was lovely listen to what I would like as I through a re-style, but Jess assured me that I didn’t need it and it was just a new re-cut into the old style that I had. I was made to feel at ease and I was very happy with my results , iv found over the years to come out of hair dressers disappointed and not happy with the cut but I was more than happy with my results and will be definitely coming back. I recently had an amazing experience at HOOP. Jess was my stylist, what a gem she is, a real credit to HOOP. From the initial consultation Jess was professional and listened to my vision and advised appropriately, giving me a wealth of advice which was invaluable. She put me at ease straight away. My hair now looks beautiful. I had it coloured and restyled and it feels incredible. My husband of 40 years, has commented not once, but twice, on how lovely it looks. He is a man of few words, so the fact he has acknowledged my hair, is a small miracle in itself...lol 😆 What impressed me the most about HOOP, is the friendliness of all staff. The salon is amazing very clean and beautiful, with a spa feel. You are looked after so well. Refreshments are offered wine, water, tea ( set up beautifully on a tray). I went to Jas for a tidy up as I’m growing out a long pixie that wasn’t really my style (cut elsewhere) she was great and used the expertise of Hayley to confirm her ideas and use Hayley’s guidance. Hayley was brilliant and gave her valued experience to ensure that I had a wonderful hairstyle that will be easier to grow out in a neat and balanced way.

Ella, my stylist is a lovely person (we always have a laugh together) but most importantly she’s a fantastic stylist, she always cuts my hair perfectly and is a smiley happy person which makes it a pleasure to have my haircut. Anazing salon with nicest staff! I was really nervous about having my hair cut as previous hairdressers have ruined my hair in the past. Ella made me feel so comfortable and made my hair feel and look amazing without loosing my much loved length which gave me a nice confidence boost 🙂 She also did my mum's hair and did an amazing job! Mum was flaunting her hair around and said she felt years younger 😊 Brought my daughter for her first big girl wash cut and blowdry after school and Jessica was hands down the beat hairdresser that's ever done her hair! She made Lydia feel very comfortable, was really good with helping her keep still and even gave her hair a lovely style after her cut. My daughter couldn't stop smiling afterwards and said she felt really pretty 😊 Will definitely be regulars here! Thank you so so much 💗

Phoebe is an excellent stylist. I am very pleased with her advice regarding managing my hair which has been dry thick and easily knotted. I was tying it up as I was not managing the hair and Phoebe has given me some helpful advice regarding conditioner and type of hair brush to use. I would like to come back.

I had a lovely experience in this hairdressers,i was offered a hot drink as well,very nice polite staff, and the lovely girl who washed my hair,does a lovely head massage when she conditions your hair. I would recommend, and would return if I'm in the area again.

Katy gives me the best advice for my hair and always makes it feel so much thicker and fuller with the cuts she does . She recommends what to do with my hair if I’m struggling with thinning or scalp problems . She recommends treatments when it’s dry . And we always have a lovely chat 😊

I've never had anyone show so much time, effort and care into a haircut before. Katie was out of this world with every step of my haircut today from the consultation through to the how's and why of what she was doing to my hair. Every step was explained and I felt as ease knowing that she knew the exact vision that she had in mind. My hair turned out better than I had ever expected can't thank her enough!
I have been seeing Katie to have my hair coloured and cut for the last few years. Not only does she get my colour absolutely spot on every time but she has got my hair into fantastic condition. After years of suffering from alopecia on and off my hair was very thin and damaged but it is now much thicker and healthier. She always talks me through what she is going to do and manages to bring my crazy hair ideas to life without damaging it. I would recommend her to anyone!
